The Illini Bass Fishing Club will be having an Executive Board Meeting on October 25th at 7:00pm at Legends Bar. We are moving from our usual meeting spot due to the impending closure of Geovanti's by the health department. So we are going to be giving Legends a try; there are some larger tables towards the back of the bar and I imagine that is where you will find us. Legends has some great food, granted their chicken fingers aren't as great as Geo's, but it will still make a great place for our meetings.
We will be recapping this weekend's tournament against Illinois State University as well as discussing the possible addition of other tournaments against other teams from Illinois. We will also be transitioning into winter mode for the club which will involve updates to our constitution, repairs to our boats (this is a BIG one), planning off-season fund raising and events and preparing for next season's tournaments. Clearly we have a lot to talk about and it should be pretty exciting as we have a lot of great opportunities coming up that we need to plan and get ready for.
So come on out and check out our new meeting spot, get involved in some new club projects and as always, talk some fishing! Hope to see everyone at Legends tomorrow!
