Unfortunately, the results were less than spectacular. 6 anglers, 1 lone bass that Dinty caught...it was a bowling ball though at 3.7 lbs. That equates to .6 pounds per person...
In our defense the water we were fishing was barely over 40 degrees at its warmest and over half the lake was iced over! Definately put the clamps on those feeding bass unfortunately. But a good time was had by all and afterwards Dinty and Tiffany cooked a delicious meal with some fish Dinty had from a previous outing! Fabulous!
Until next year!
Rob
PS>I think Tim and Leo have some pictures to post as they took some nice action shots and a good one of Dinty's nice fish...

I was dragging a finesse jig, just like I talked about in my little seminar at the November bass club meeting. I didn't feel a bump, just springy weight moving away from me I also busted another fish off in a brushpile about 10 min later. Bummer. Bait: Strike King bitsy flip 1/4 ounce green craw Trailer: You know (secret outside the club) Rod 7'0" medium heavy-medium fast Line 10 lb Gamma fluorocarbon--essential for feel in the wind and chop since light jigs and slow fall were important in the cruddy weather Presentation: patient.
