I went up to Lake Michigan today to do a little fishing. Was only able to fish for about 2 hours, but managed to catch 8 largemouth - but no smallmouth, which I was pretty disappointed about. The water was VERY cold - maybe 40 degrees and really clear. A big cold front went through about 15 minutes after I got there. It went from walking around in a t-shirt (mid-50's) to seeing your breath in a matter of minutes. Wind was blowing pretty good too and it decided to rain twice and hail once. Probably wasn't the best idea to stay out there, but it was fun! Caught them all on a X-rap, letting it set there for 20 plus seconds, with fish either hitting it on the pause or immediately after moving it. Time to hit up the big pond Doug!
