For the meeting, Wes and i decided to make it a sort of social event, if you would like to call it that. Everyone attending the meeting is asked to purchase a lure or bag of plastics. These items (one per person) should be either wrapped in newspaper, or a brown paper bag. When i say wrapped you can ball it up and put a rubber band around it as long as each item is distinguishable from another and not visible to anyone is all we are asking. These items will be "raffled" off to other members of the club. The idea is to obtain something you might not ordinarily fish but if someone else bought it for you, maybe you will be more inclined to try it. We decided on a price limit of 6 bucks. Make these items good. We aren't talking about a bag of hooks or jig heads here, we want usable, whole lures. Most everyone in the club has worm hooks and weights and if not he/she should definitely look into purchasing some. Good luck to all and make your lures exciting.
