Hey everyone! Hope your all enjoying these last few weeks of summer!!! So me and Rob were talking about Quad day and some stuff we can do with our table to attract some attention. Rob's (and maybe a couple more of you) going to be pitching jigs in people's faces, and maybe playing a video on his laptop. I'm getting some suckers or something and attatching a piece of paper with our club name, website, etc (atleast something with our name on it is leaving our table, yah know?). I think a couple people had mentioned some other ideas earlier this summer in e-mails. So, anymore ideas, or anything else someone wants to put together??? Thoughts??? Come on yah bums (I say that affectionately, really )!!! Maybe that's enough stuff, but the more stuff to attract people the better, right? Please post some replies with your thoughts! ~Kerry

What if we had a small aquarium with actual bass in it? We could use a portable aerator and get ice to keep it cool. -D

I got a tank we can use....we can maybe catch a bass out of the Allen Hall pond? then we can release it after wards. bass are pretty hardy and I'm sure this one will live. I might also be bringing a baby pike or baby peacock bass to school so we can maybe use that.

Well you can do your research during quad day....haha
I could always hit up my local ponds with some baby fathead minnows on size 10 hooks and see if I can catch a 4-5" bass

That would be awesome if we had a real bass!!! Otherwise..... or if that should fall through.... someone could always just bring one of those talking/singing bass things..... but a real one would be soooo sweet!

Maybe you better check with DNR as to having Bass in a tank, They may help. scott.stueue@illinois.gov would be a good starting point.
