Hey guys,
I am looking to sell my Skeet Reese Revo, I just bought it and it's not what I expected. Anyone interested? By the way, it's left handed.
Thanks, Carlos

I paid 160 to my door for the zillion. Not a bad deal in my opinion since it's pretty much brand new except for a very slight boat rash. The guy just had it serviced like a week ago.
$125 for the skeet reese is a damned good price, considering the skeet reese is a souped up Revo SX with a better spool, better CR bearings and better drag.

Great price on that Zillion. And yeah, it's a steal for the Revo. I was just disappointed with it's casting ability. It has the same line my zillion has and tested them both on my carrot stix and the zillion won.

Yeah, but you gotta look at it this way, the Revos are workhorses - they all have kick-ass amounts of drag, and can take a hell of a beating.
I'm not sure how awesome Daiwa's customer service is, but I've heard countless stories of people returning a Revo SX or STX for a minor problem asking for it to be fixed, only to receive a brand new one. That's definitely a plus.
My guess is that the centrifugal braking is what's causing your Revo to cast less distance than the Zillion, which uses MagForce Z.

Since you're looking for a cranking reel, have you considered the Revo Winch?
20+# of drag and a 5.4 ratio. Pretty good reviews too.

Hmmm I might have to jump on this. Is it the normal speed or the high speed?
For the record the Skeet Reese Revo is based on the Premier, not the SX, which is an amazing reel in itself. Let me call TW and see what I can get one of the STX's for and if it's close enough I'll give you a call Carlos.
