Ryan and I hit up Sangchris yesterday while I had time inbetween experiments. We went most of the day fishless, until we came up to a spot and Ryan spotted 3 schools of fish on the flasher. We ended up catching about 40 bass from that spot in a couple hours. I caught bass on 5 consecutive casts, with one being the biggest fish of the day being 3+ pounds. We caught them on cranks and Carolina rigs.

G'Lawd! Is it safe to say that's Ryan's pet lake? Nice job fellas Ryan, can you describe what schools look like on a flasher? Is your unit color or black/white? I'll throw my hat into the ring. Met up B SHEP who owns www.reelfisherman.com (I suggest everyone register as it's a fantastic forum to learn about ALL things fish, including all freshwater species not just bass). Fished a Lake X for about two days and lit em up. Our group of three boated three muskies, lost a fourth after a snap opened up (lost the fish AND lure), had strikes from another two fish, my other good friend who was already fishing the lake boated three and lost some nice ones, and we even boated a HAWG largemouth about 5.5-6 pounds on a 10" Storm Kickin Minnow (that one was for you, Ryan!). Here's the bass.

I went out on the Chain O Lakes for a few hours, and it was more productive then usual. Me and my dad each had a few, nothing special to talk about.... the biigest (caught by my Dad) was around 2-2.5. No pictures developed yet.

i was throwin a 10 inch worm yesterday too where's my 6 POUNDAH. schools on a flasher look like brush piles. that is you know the depth in a certain area before you go over the school. then you see a bunch of lines over the thick one that signifies depth. this is either a school or a HUGE brushpile.......if its a brushpile at least there will still usually be fish holding in, on , or around it. i can take you out there sometime but if you show anyone my spots or try to hide a gps unit in your bag to relocate some of my spots........i'll have to kill you. just kidding but i don't really kill those who steal my spots but you can bet a 6" swim bait will be headed your way......ask vandy about that. i'm crazy dont forget. way to go on the muskie baits for bass. i will forever UPSIZE instead of downsize. big fish eat big baits fellas and ladies.
