FIBC brothers and sisters.
I am about to graduate, and I have a bass boat that I simply can't take with me to my new home. Thus it is for sale. The stats:
1989 Bass tracker pro 175(17.5 ft) (aluminum) with a 40 horse Evinrude, 45 lb MotorGuide trolling motor, BRAND NEW bottom line 320 tournament max depth finder.
This boat is a real workhorse and has been virtually zero maintenance for me since I got it a couple of years ago.
It is a great boat and I thought I would advertise it here first since I would rather it remain in the bass club if possible.
I am asking 2000 dollars for it, which is a steal compared to other boats on the market. I just saw a 16.5 foot Tracker with a 40 horse, 4 years older, for the same price in the paper.
Unfortunately, I really need to sell this boat as things will be tight for me financially the next semester in between the end of my graduate career and the start of my real career as an organic or biochemistry professor. But I'd love to sell it to someone who would have it available for bass club stuff as it is a worthy tournament boat with one big ten classic title already to its credit. There are a couple of very small cosmetic things that need to be fixed but the boat is tournament ready right now and I will be around for the spring semester to help the new owner with anything.
Anyone interested? Post on the board or email me at dmusk@uiuc.edu I might even be willing to do some kind of payment plan as long as I got significant money up front and significant assurance that I would get the rest in due course.
Thanks guys,
Dinty
