Hey guys,
As most of you know, I am working full time now and one of my responsibilities involves recruiting an intern to work this summer in our plant in Pleasant Prairie, WI. I used Engineering Career Services in order to setup interview time for next Tuesday, March 14th, however, we have not received the amount of applications we would have liked. Because of this, I am interested in getting a few more interview candidates and thought I would see if anyone connected to the bass club was interested.
Here is a brief outline of the job:
Rehrig Pacific Company (www.rehrigpacific.com) is a privately held manufacturer of industrial plastic containers and pallets servicing the food, beverage, dairy, agricultural, environmental, and material handling industries worldwide. Rehrig has eight locations throughout the Nation, each strategically located in or near a large city. Rehrig is seeking Plant Engineering Interns for our Kenosha, WI facility. The job deals with hands-on engineering and project management and utilizes an array of engineering and leadership skills. Good communication skills are a necessity. The position offers a great experience with a lot of freedom and diverse opportunity.
Some specifics we look for are some hands on technical experience (one good example of this is past experience with a construction company but many others experiences qualify), an outgoing and communicative personality, and a good general ability to problem solve.
We are looking for an undergrad in Mechanical, Industrial, or General Engineering. GPA is not really a factor.
Let me know by emailing me (dmacchia@rehrigpacific.com) or calling 630-408-2683, if you or someone else you know may fit the description and would be interested.
The person filling this position would be working directly under myself and would therefore also have to do a lot of bass fishing with me this summer!
Thanks guys for giving this a look.
