There is a creek clean up this Wednesday...
5:00 pm Boneyard Creek on the Engineering Quad
If your name is on the following list, you signed up to help out:
Wes Dinty Chris Vandy Kerry Ryan Mike Steve
Wes, I think you were in charge...you will find this of interest and importance:
"Supplies available for check-out upon cleaning include:
a) Plastic Safety Gloves
b) Trash Bags
These supplies are located at the front desk of the RSO Complex (Rm 280 Illini Union)."
I apologize for not being able to be there, but I had a previous commitment...let me know if there are questions.
Rob

Ok, so since I'm in charge, could we meet on the quad side of Engineering Hall, on the large stone patio type area that over looks the creek and quad. that is the middle of the south side of the Engineering Quad, thank you.

The supplies are available for you to check out. As in, you can go to that room and pick them up...
Hope that clarifies things and good luck,
Rob

Oh, and if someone want to bring something to "fish" out trash from the creek, feel free.

Kerry, Ryan, Chris and I found two umbrellas in the creek amongst other trash, Kerry decided to take a bath in the creek and hopefully she has good luck with the AIDS that she may or may not have contracted. Dinty was there as well, we saw him fishing, and I'm sure he picked up just as much trash as the rest of us. Dinty you can give us a report on the fishing. Also contrary to popular belief, you do not need a permit to clean the creek up. Chris can report on the goose hunting as well.

No permit required for cleaning the creek to the best of my knowledge as well....however, to hunt geese does require a permit which can be obtained by the male goose on the south bank between the walk bridges. He is the one that can hop vertically and hiss atrociously. Good Luck!
