Just wondering if anyone had any helpful information for bass fishing Shelbyville. My dad and I are headed there next week. Neither of us have been there before, and I was wondering if I could get some insight from someone. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I think we are taking our camper as well. Any recommendations on what campsite to stay at?
Please email me a bkemmerl@purdue.edu (c'mon, don't hold the Purdue thing against me, I'm an EX-member)
Thanks

Might be able to help you after this weekend. We're hosting a tournament there.

Braden, If you want to load the boat at Shelbyville. don't beat the banks. Back off and run points, using whichever deepwater technique you wish to cover water and search for active fish. Good sonar helps there. I would help you more, but you haven't renounced the Purdue bass clue yet, therefore you are my mortal enemy

Deep water? Figured they'd be moved up shallow. How clear is the water? Please don't tell me it's deep and gin clear!

fish were in over 20 ft of water last weekend. Between the whites and largemouth we had an awesome day. Don't come to the lake without little georges........at least 1/2 oz. jig them like a plastic worm on the points. Visibility was around 6 ft down.
