Alright well our tournament is fast approaching so I've put a list together of things that we're going to need for the tournament. If your name is on here for bringing something, please confirm that you will be able to. If your name is on here with a question mark please let me know if you will be able to get whatever that thing is. And if you see something on here that does not have a name next to it and you can bring it, please let me know. I will send out an email later this week giving the details about everything for the weekend.
Participant Info - (Justin/Matt) Tournament Insurance/Info - (Justin/Matt) Weigh Bags - (Matt) Bump Board - (Matt - In Ouachita) Scale/Sink - (Marshall?) Canopy - (Matt) Camping Tents - (Matt/Brock?/Chet?) Grill - ? Food/Drink - ? Columbia Banner - (Carlos?) FIBC Banner - (Kyle?) Extension Cords/Power - (Justin/Matt) Tables/Chairs - (Cody) Speaker System (if possible) - ? Possibly Devon?
If you are planning on camping with us, I need to know if you have a tent or not. We currently have room for a maximum of 8 people, so the first 8 to respond should be ok. After that you need to provide one for yourself or sleep in a car. You will need to bring your own sleeping bag/pillow. If you are planning on driving your car and parking at the campsite, I need to know that. We do get charged for parking cars and boats. If you need a ride I need to know that as well. Please pack light, Justin and I have trucks but they will fill up quick with people and such. If you need a ride there, you also will need to figure a way back. I can drop anyone off in Champaign or take them up the Northwest burbs and I believe Justin can do the same.
If you can think of anything else that we need, post up and let me know. Thanks guys, hopefully this will be a successful trip for the club.

I can bring a medium sized and/or a small grill and i'll bring whatever charcoal i have.
Since James and I are fishing the tournament we are probably going down early Saturday to prefish and I would be willing to take one more person down there too to fish for the day if anybodys interested?
And I can only give rides back to Champaign, I'm staying down a couple extra days so I can't help anybody out looking to go home directly after the Tournament.

I can bring some additional food for grilling. I got a membership at Sam's Club so I will pick up a bulk pack of brats and a couple of family packs of steaks.

I will 100% have a big tent that should easily fit 4 people comfortably in it and more if needed. I will be taking my own vehicle as well. What time are going to meet on sat?

I think grilling out the night before is a good idea. I have some lighter fluid but we'll need charcoal, Justin if you could pick all that up that would be great. James, thanks for the offer on food but Carlos gets a great deal through his work. If you want to get a few cases of bottled water that would be cool. I will bring a cooler and ice for those. Carlos, I would say between 50-100 hotdogs and buns would be awesome. If you can get like ketchup and mustard too that would be great, otherwise if James can get it that would be cool too. Sounds like we're going to have enough tents too which is good.
I hope to be down in Champaign by 3:30 at the latest, I'll let you all know where we're going to meet. As of right now I have 4 cars (myself, Justin, Kyle and Brock) which should be more than enough to get everyone and our gear down there. If you need a ride, talk to one of us.

Alright - I can get bottled water. They also have gatorade, vitamin water and juices in bulk so if anyone is interested just speak up and I'll grab a case of those too.

Bottled water is fine, if you could grab napkins and plates that would be awesome too. Just the cheap stuff, probably only need 100 of each. Might need ketchup and mustard too, waiting to hear back from Carlos on that. Thanks.

Matt, How many are registered and how many do you actually expect to fish the tournament. Also, what is the payout going to be (1in3 1in5) I'm curious because I am really considering fishing it, but I need to know if it is worth the gas.

12 boats currently registered, including two of our own teams. If that does not change, we will be paying out 1st, 2nd and 3rd at $200, $125 and $75, respectively. In addition, Big Bass will be paying out $60. Lunch will also be served after the tournament.
Come on out, it should be a good time and we would really appreciate your support. Hopefully the fish will be starting to turn on a little more and we'll see some good bags.

Hey guys, I know it's a little late but I just wanted to thank all of you that come out and helped with the tournament. I think it was a huge success for us and it would not have gone as smoothly as it did without everyone's help. Thank you to Brock and Devon for bringing all of the camping supplies and getting camp set up before the rest of us slackers made it out to the site. Also thanks for bringing the beverages. Thanks to James for bringing the cases of water for after the tournament, even though we didn't end up needing them I still really appreciate the help. Thanks to all of you for helping at registration and making sure that went smoothly. Thanks to Uros, Chet and Kyle for running a very smooth and quick weigh-in. Thanks again to Brock and Devon for taking care of cooking the food and getting everything at the weigh-in set up. Thanks to Cody for bringing the tables and helping out before and after the tournament. Thanks to everyone who helped out with the boat in between registration and weigh-in. A huge thanks goes out to Justin who pretty much organized the entire tournament, made sure we had everything that we needed and handled most of the registration process. I think I got everyone, sorry if I forgot anyone or anything. For those of you who didn't come, you missed out on a great time and I hope you make it next year. One last thanks to Brock, for keeping the camp safe while the rest of us ran the tournament, couldn't have done it without you man.

O Brock with the save couldn't have been done without you guys. It did all go great guys, it was a big improvement from last year when there were only 3 club members out there. I know it sucked being on shore and standing around while some of us got to fish (although I'd argue your day was better than mine) everything you guys did on shore was great. Thanks to every body for helping out.
