Anything going on this weekend?

Are there any events planned for this weekend? I was looking forward to doing some fishing this weekend but as of now I don't see that there are any paper tournaments or anything else planned.

Unfortunately Ryan all of the executive board guys are tied up this weekend fishing a tournament on Lake Shelbyville so there will not be any paper tournaments held this weekend.

That being said I know there are a couple of returning members who might be looking to get out this weekend who might be looking to wet a line and will post up on here for anybody interested so be sure to check back for that.

Now if you were interested in doing something a little bit different but still fishing related, the B.A.S.S. elite series pros (the likes of Kevin Van Dam Gerald Swindle Mike Iaconelli, etc) are fishing out in Decatur this weekend and thats where we will all be. If you were interested in taking a ride or getting a few of the guys together to take a ride out there you could check out the pros fishing and weighing in as well as some other activities (boat test rides, some mini seminars I believe, sponsor booths) as well as a mini concert fest.

That is the link to all the events that will be going on out in Decatur, Saturday we will be in Decatur all day and on Sunday we will be back there sometime after 3 after our tournament to weigh in right before the pros! It is bound to be a cool experience that we might not see for a long time again in Illinois so if your interested in seeing how pro tournaments operate or learning more about the sport it is definitely something to check out!
