Hey Everyone!!! As some of you know I'm down in Florida visiting a friend. I haven't fished much but when I have its been very tough. Up until today I've only caught a couple dinks. I've been fishing the pond in my friend's backyard, however I talked to one of the neighbors today and apparently they had a huge fish kill last yr in the pond so there aren't very many fish left, except the dinks. So I wandered a couple blocks and went to a diff pond...first cast with a senko I caught an OK fish about 14". Then I started walking down the shore and I see this giant white spot...I'm thinking...bed? I look down and theres about a 6lb bass just sitting there. I ended up catching the hawg (If you don't like me bed fishing, I dont really care) I took a couple quick pictures and released her. She went straight back to the bed. I caught her on a super hog After that I didn't get a single bite. But later in the day I was fishin a senko again, and my line SLOWLY started movin...I set the hook and the fish took off! I couldn't even move it. It was way bigger than the one I caught...Unfortunately the fish broke me off (17lb floro) I was being dumb and tried to horse it with the drag clinched way down on my revo. Here is the big fish of the trip so far. She's easily 6 prob much more:

lol its a possibility, but my friend says there hasn't been a gator sighting in their ponds in over a year....but its def possible in florida! Oh yeah I saw a macaw flying around today too. And I say some orange fish in the pond...they weren't goldfish.

Bedding already in January? What's this thing I keep hearing about... global warming?
Love that classic FL strain coloration. What happened to fishing Okeechobee (sp?)?

the only thing with the "she" reference, is if was a bed, "she" is likely a he. Not to get technical on your ass. but I know the whole tranny preop postoperation thing gets a little crazy down there in Florida. I know from experience. I mean ahh...errrr. Eh!
